“Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.” Isaiah 51:11. (NKJV).
"I've made reservations for our anniversary dinner for eight o'clock tonight." Her smile brightened the room as she hugged her husband.
The maitre d’ escorted them to a choice table. Orders placed, they sat back to enjoy their iced tea. The server returned, chatting as he served their food.“Is there anything else I can bring you?”
“Thank you, no.” The husband reached for his wife’s hand. Heads bowed, he blessed the food.
At the amen, the server spoke up.
“Can’t argue with that.”
"Would you like to know what happened?" she said.
"Yes, but I don't have time now. On the job, you know."
"Of course." She reached in her handbag. "Here's my card."
"You not going to convince me to think like you?" She shook her head.
"I don't think I could, do you?" He grinned, took the card.
"Thanks." She smiled, nodded. Her husband took her hand, gave it a squeeze.
Kingdom Thinking. In this life journey, we the redeemed, are returning. With singing and everlasting joy. Many will be offended at what I believe. That's okay. Extending kindness is sharing the joy. I can't change anyone but the Lord Jesus can in the most amazing ways. He loves you with an everlasting love and will never leave nor forsake you. Won't you come?
